Join Fabric Designer and printmaker Lizzie Mabley for a fun, and relaxed fabric printing taster session.

During this half day session you will have a unique opportunity to experiment with Lizzie’s large collection of hand carved lino blocks– including stars, trees, leaves, flowers and many more, to create colourful patterns and repeats. You can then use them to print a pair of tea towels or tote bags. As you will be using Lizzie’s pre-carved printing blocks, no carving will be necessary and no previous experience or drawing skills needed. Just come and have a play! Lizzie has a huge library of unique hand carved blocks so you will be spoilt for choice. The finished items would make excellent gifts, and may even inspire you to learn to create more! This is a great introduction to the art of block printing and lino from a tutor with a wealth of design and printmaking experience.

All materials will be provided and you will go home with a pair of tea towels and plenty of inspiration!

Please bring old clothes or an apron, as the inks we use are water based and eco-friendly, but they will stain.
