Join mosaic artist Sadie Rowlands for a fun and relaxing morning learning the art of mosaic. Learn how to select and cut tiles and recycled bone china and assemble onto a pre-cut shape. There will also be a fabulous selection of gems and glass tiles to add some extra sparkle to your make! You will be taught how to grout the finished mosaic and hangers will be added to make the finished mosaics into decorative pieces for your home or gifts for friends or family. As this workshop takes place in late November there will also be festive shapes available, such as stars, trees and angels for making unique and beautiful Christmas decorations. The beauty of this short taster class is that you can have a go at whichever shape takes your fancy, seasonal or non seasonal.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to expand their mosaic making skills. All materials are included in the cost. If you have broken china at home, feel free to bring it along to add to your piece. Please bring an old apron and wear covered shoes for the workshop.
