Come and join Kate from Calamity Katie Designs for this 3 hour Japanese stab binding workshop.

In this class we will start by making hardcovers for our books and then learn a traditional stitch for binding together paper. You can choose from two different stitch pattern templates and will leave with a beautiful unique book ready to fill up with whatever you chose. These books make beautiful gifts, can be used as sketchbooks or even as photograph albums.

This workshop is suitable for adults of all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary - we welcome everyone, from complete novices to seasoned creatives keen to nourish their own practice. Our workshops are relaxed and friendly and we keep the groups nice and small so you will get plenty of help, encouragement and inspiration from your tutor.
