Join tutor and traditional upholster Felicity Tran to make your very own woven seagrass footstool - a super day of making, relaxation and mindfulness.

In this enjoyable and mindful one-day group workshop you will learn how to weave the seat to your very own stool. Your footstool frame is locally made using solid wood and will be woven with sustainable seagrass cord. This is a thoroughly enjoyable heritage craft, sufficiently complex that you will feel, with no previous experience, that you have truly achieved a new skill, yet mindful enough to allow you to chat to your fellow attendees.  You will leave with your very own footstool, something you can treasure forever.

Your footstool frame comes as a beautiful natural solid wood finish, but you have the opportunity to have the frame painted in a colour to co-ordinate with your decor if you prefer. Colours available are:

4. Pale pink

5. Pale Mustard,

6. Olive,

7. Teal,

8. Brick Red,

9. Navy

You can see examples of the colours in the pictures - please select your finish (painted or unpainted) and chosen colour using the pop up form at the point of purchase. Painted frames will cost £10 extra which must be paid to the tutor on the day of your workshop, either by cash or bank transfer.
