Join us for a creative and enjoyable one-day mixed-media glass and wire workshop with Caroline Lambert Glass.

Throughout the day, you will be introduced to a range of traditional and contemporary techniques, including hand-shaping wire, copper foiling, soldering and the use of patina. Using these techniques, you will create your own unique collection of flowers and foliage, inspired by the natural forms found in hedgerows and flower gardens. By the end of the workshop, you will have created a beautiful everlasting display of wire and stained-glass flowers to take home and enjoy for years to come. No previous experience is necessary, making this workshop suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already have some experience working with glass. Please note that the workshop involves detailed, hands-on work, so a good level of manual dexterity is required. All tools, equipment and materials will be provided, including a selection of pre-cut glass elements.

Please bring your own apron and something suitable to display your finished creation in, such as an attractive bottle or vase with a narrow neck, approximately 15–20cm tall. Please note that wine bottles are too large for this project. Come along for a relaxed, hands-on day of creativity, learn some new skills and leave with your very own handcrafted piece of everlasting floral art.

Please wear closed in shoes, no dangling scarves and hair tied back.
