Create a beautiful set of mini stacking bowls, while learning the basics of working with porcelain paperclay.

In this half day taster class artist and ceramic sculpture tutor, Emily Joy, will teach you how to work with porcelain paperclay to create a collection of little nesting bowls. You will begin by creating pinch pots, shaping the clay by hand or around a selection of pebbles, and smoothing it into lovely organic shapes. A variety of glazes will be available to create a beautiful finish.  These gorgeous little bowls would make great gifts or practical decorative items for the home.

At the end of the workshop, your bowls will be carefully dried, and kiln fired. They will be ready to collect from Victoria Works Studios in 3 weeks’ time.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities. All materials provided.
