This is a fabulous opportunity to learn and use traditional silversmithing techniques to create stylish and contemporary jewellery. You will enjoy the creative process of experimenting with hammer and punch work and be encouraged to use your creativity with mark-making as you embellish your rings in a unique and personal fashion. You will work your way through each part of the process, using hand held specialist jewellery tools to saw, solder and finish the rings to a beautiful standard.

The workshop will be fun, informal and taught at a steady pace. There will be examples of previous participant results so you can see what is achievable and Zoe can also help you with ideas for the design of your rings.

Safety Notice: You will be working with tools and equipment that can be potentially hazardous if due care and attention is not taken; we therefore ask that participants are over the age of 16, wear suitable clothing including shoes or boots that cover and protect the feet. Long hair must be tied back and rings, scarfs and other dangling or loose clothing must be removed prior to the start of the class. If you would like to bring an apron or overall please feel free.
